Where do you think the next outbreak of your disease will occur any and why?

I think the next place my disease will occur is the North America. I think bird flu will occur there next because  we handle a lot of poultry just as much as the other continents. Humans can easily contract this disease and spread it. People who own farms or work in a food factory might be the most prevalent.

H5N1 (Bird Flu)

Bird Flu is a virus that exist in birds. Only a few cases have found the virus in humans. Most influenza come from Asia. The virus spread mostly through animals, only a few cases were spotted in humans. Women, children, and sickly people are the most prominent to catch the disease. Some of the initial symptoms in the human species are fever, cough, sore throat, eye infections and muscle aches. It is transmitted in humans by selling and eating poultry. Bird Flu is not as deadly to humans as it is to birds. It travels in the air and usually affects animals. It has the capabilities to become deadly with the bird species, and there are steps to prevent people from catching it.

The steps taken to prevent the spread of the disease were risky and were not very effective.  WHO thought H5N1 came from wild ducks that visited exercretions. The name of the process of seperating and killing sick animals is 'culling'.

The links shows a video showing how CDC prepared to deliver vaccinations for H5N1.

There is no known vaccine for H5N1 but  prescription drugs and medication has proven to put a stop to it's symptoms.
