What is Bird Flu (H5N1)

  Bird Flu is referred as avian influenza. It was first identified in case February 2003. Nakorn-Patom/ Thailand, where the specific virus was isolated. Another case called H5N7 is similar to H5N1. The bird and human species in Netherlands were affected.

    H5N7 share 'H5' which means both H5N7 and H5N1 have the same amount of protein hemagglutinin. Also H5N7 is a avian influenza.
